Inspiring Young Minds
Welcome to Physics Pathfinders! We are a high school student-run organisation dedicated to providing physics and engineering-focused science workshops for young Kiwis. Our goal is to present scientific principles through fun and interactive experiments, while also helping children develop problem-solving skills. We believe in the power of scientific thinking, and we are excited to help young learners discover the wonders of physics, the language of the universe.
At Physics Pathfinders, we believe that science education should be fun, engaging, and accessible to everyone.
Our programmes are designed to inspire the next generation of young scientists through hands-on experiments and interactive learning experiences. Children will have the opportunity to explore the world of physics in a safe and supportive environment, with the guidance of experienced high school mentors passionate about science education.
Our aim is to help children develop a lifelong love of learning and a curiosity about the world around them, while also building their knowledge and skills in the fundamental sciences. Some example topics we explore include:
