Catapult Challenge
Goal: to design and construct a catapult that will launch a projectile the furthest.
Materials and Equipment:
Popsicle sticks
Hot glue gun
Rubber bands
Spoon to load projectile
Instructions:
Divide into groups of three or four
Distribute materials
5 minutes of brainstorming designs
40 minutes of building
Supervise hot glue station
Furthest final distance wins the challenge
